What it means to be a Kinsmen
It’s more than just a club.
We are a group of like-minded men who appreciate a good time while supporting our community. Our goal is always to help raise money through entertaining fundraisers, exciting social outings, and events that become more like reunions — and not the kind that only serve egg salad sandwiches — our events are worthy of all caps and highlighter on your family calendar!
Some of the sponsorships we participate in are Listowel Minor Hockey, Public Skating at the Steve Kerr Memorial Arena, and free swimming at the Kinsmen pool during those warm summer months.
As a group, we enjoy socializing and letting our hair down (I hope this made some of you chuckle!) by organizing internal events and social outings such as a round of golf at the Listowel Golf Club or at the golf simulator at the Back 9. So, if you are looking for a decent group of guys to connect with while making a difference in our community, then the Kinsmen Club is where you’ll want to be.

We bring people from all walks of life together for fun and enjoyable social events with the overall goal of helping organizations in need. It’s always rewarding to see the smiling faces and hear the laughter during our events, knowing that a great time is being had while doing some good for our community.
What to expect as a Kinsmen
The Kinsmen Club of Listowel meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month for dinner and a meeting at the Listowel Kin Station. Outside of meetings, we participate in and organize community events and social outings. So, if you enjoy golfing and sharing a cold beverage, you’ll fit right in!
In the first year of becoming a Kinsmen, we give you the time to really get to know our club members and what it means to be a Kinsmen. We won’t throw you into the deep end right away either (or ever) — you can also participate in your first events and fundraisers when you feel comfortable.
Based on your interests, we will find the perfect role for you! For example, some of our Kinsmen excel in planning while others like working with their hands; what will yours be?

Our membership ranges in age and profession and is open to those willing to lend a hand supporting our ventures. We are also flexible with your schedule.
